Claire Dolores (Bonenberger) Cope, 89, of Pennsburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16th, 2024. Born in Fruitville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Aimee (Grill) Bonenberger. She served her country honorably in the Air Force during the Korean War. Following her service, Claire was a hairdresser, and she had a salon in her home from the early 1970’s to the early 1990’s.
She is survived by her children: Anthony J. Salamone and his wife Susan of Limerick, PA, John V. Salamone and his wife, Michelle Lasorda-Salamone of North Coventry, PA, and Karla Salamone-Peluso and her husband, Anthony of Bloomsbury, NJ; her grandchildren: Noelle, Nicholas, Anthony, Matthew, and Chaslyn; and her great grandchildren: Giana, AJ, Julianna, Gabriella, Luca, Anthony, Matthew, Grady, and Cooper. She was predeceased by her brother Carl Bonnenberger and his wife Gloria.
All are invited to gather with her family for a celebration of her life from 11am to 2 pm on June 2nd at the Carriage House Restaurant, 745 Gravel Pike, East Greenville, PA 18042. She will be laid to rest privately with her parents in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.
