Cheryl Dawn Hartzell (Walter)

Cheryl Dawn Hartzell, 70, of Green Lane, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24th, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Timothy A. Hartzell. Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Detweiler) Walter.

Cheryl was a graduate of the former Sacred Heart Hospital School of Practical Nursing, Norristown and received her LPN from Bucks County Community College. She was employed by the Birches, in Harleysville, and most recently by the Harleysville Community Home Services. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and watching birds.

Along with her husband, Cheryl is survived by sons: Steve, Jason, and Brian Derstine; brothers: Terry and James Walter; several grandchildren: and a nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a bother: Craig Walter.

Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg,has been entrusted with services. She will be laid to rest in Frieden's Union Cemetery, Sumneytown.
