Charlotte O'Neal

Charlotte M. (Souders) McElhenny O’Neal, 85, formerly of Fountain Hill, died September 9, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Assisted Living Facility, Center Valley. She was the wife of the late Harry O’Neal, and the late Sheldon McElhenny. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of Esther (Kressley) Souders. She was a graduate of the Bethlehem Tech School of Nursing and was a practical nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill for 26 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church, Bethlehem. Surviving: are 2 daughters: Carol, wife of James Hannon, of Bethlehem; and Sue, wife of Daniel Miller, of Allentown; and 3 grandchildren: Amanda, Lauren, and Stephanie. Services: Memorial Services will be on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 11 AM at the Fritz Memorial U.M.C., 303 Packer Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Interment will be private.
