Charles H. Smith

Charles H. Smith, 74, of Hamilton Road, East Greenville, died March 6, 2008. He was the widower of Dorothy A. Smith. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Charles and Grace (Heacock) Smith. He recently was employed in the cafeteria of the Perkiomen School. Prior to that, he worked for over 36 years as a machine operator for Pecora Chemical Co, Harleysville, before retiring. He was a member of the Owl’s Nest #1302, East Greenville, and the Gilbertsville and Green Lane Fire Companies.

Surviving are 3 siblings; son-in-law, Ron Rainier, of Pennsburg; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a step-daughter, Dorothy Rainier in 1998.
