Charles Fries

Charles Fries Jr., 79, of Barto, passed away at home on August 21, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Keyser) Fries. They celebrated 44 years of marriage in January. Born in Perkiomenville, he was a son of the late Charles Sr. and Elsie (Bardman) Fries. He served his country honorably in the US Army. Charles was a maintenance forman for the former Lewis Fabricators in Lansdale. He later held the same position at the Green Lane Park until retiring in 1999. Survivors: wife; two daughters, Todie Lynn, wife of Raymond Schell of Kutztown,, and Katie Ann, wife of David Correia of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; grandchildren: Zachary, Elizabeth, Andrew, Emma, and Christian; and a sister, Pauline of Perkiomenville. Services: 11 AM, Wednesday, Frieden's UCC, 1011 Church Rd, Sumneytown, PA 18084. Call from 10 AM. Interment, Frieden's Union Cemetery with military honors.
