Cecil ”Mac” Carter, 81, of Easton, passed away on August 1, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Nann Lee (Kindle) Carter. Born in Kingsport, TN, he was a son of the late Onzie and Ellen (Busic) Carter. He was a 1957 graduate of Indiana Tech. Cecil served his country honorably in the Air Force as a staff sergeant during the Korean War. Following his service, he worked for Kodak on the Eastern seaboard for 35 years before retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Readington Reformed Church, Readington, NJ and attended First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem. He was also a Master Mason of F. & A. M. Lodge #668 in Kingsport, TN; the Scottish Rite in the Valley of Trenton, Burlington, NJ; the Crescent Shrine, Burlington, NJ; and the High 12 Club, Bethlehem, PA. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Gayle DeLee, wife of Timothy Ripper, of Bethlehem; a daughter-in-law Deborah, widow of William J. Carter; a sister, Nancy Caldwell, of Kingsport, TN; and four grandchildren: David and Kristen Carter, and Jonathan and Emily Ripper. He was also predeceased by brothers: Harmon and Clyde, and sisters: Mary McDavid, Lula Long. Services: 8 p.m., Monday, August 5, Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown.
