Catherine C. Leh, 90, formerly of Bally, went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2012. She was the devoted wife of Gerald W. Leh, with whom she celebrated 70 years of marriage on July 25th. Born in Portage, PA, Catherine was a daughter of the late John and Elnora (Crumb) Forsyth. She was a knitter at the Great American Knitting Mills, Bally, for 32 years, retiring in 1987. She was an active member of the Hereford Mennonite Church, where she especially enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching the pre-school Sunday School class for many years. She was a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer for 20 years. She enjoyed walks around Bally, taking care of her home, cooking, and baking birthday cakes for everyone in her family. Catherine willingly helped many in her community. With her husband, she was beloved by children: David J. Leh, DC, of Yardley; Joan A. Weiss, of Boyertown; and cherished by 8 grandchildren: Tami, Suzette, Matthew, Michele, Melinda, Todd, Andrew, and Jacob; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Gerald Jr; and siblings: Thomas, Wallace, John, Robert, Sarah, and Edith Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Saturday at the Hereford Mennonite Church, Bally. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM at church. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund, P.O.
