Carolyn J. Peterson

Carolyn J. Peterson, 86, of Pottstown passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27th, 2021. Carolyn worked as a nurses aide for 35 years at the Charles Johnson Home, now Parkhouse Providence Pointe in Royersford until retirement. She was a member of Temple Methodist Church. She is survived by her children: Sheree DeJohn (William) of Gilbertsville, Debbie Benner (Bryan) of Pennsburg, and David Peterson (Kelly) of Pottstown; grandchildren: Alax DeJohn, Kaitlyn DeJohn, Seth Schanely, Becky Gamboa, Bryan Benner Jr., and Nate Peterson; great grandchildren: Hayden and Aubrey DeJohn; Gavin and Alyssa Gamboa; Lucas and Noah Schanely, 3 stepchildren; 3 step grandchildren; a step great-grandson; and her brothers: Harold Garner and Scott Garner. She was preceded in death by a grandchild: David Peterson; a brother: Fred Garner; and her companion, John Hunter. According to Carolyn’s wishes, services will be held privately.
