Carole Ann Depew

Carole Ann Depew ,83, of the Frederick Community, and formerly of Red Hill and Lansdale, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12th, 2024. Born in Lansdale, she was a daughter of the late Chauncey and Katharine (Adams) Depew. Carole earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Chester University, and a master’s degree from Temple University in Education. She was a teacher at Oak Park Elementary School in the North Penn School District for many years. Carole was a member of Grace Mennonite Church in Lansdale. Carole enjoyed teaching, traveling, camping, reading , volunteering, and singing in the church choir. Carole was known for being the "Caregiver".

Carole is survived by a sister, Fay Scholl, of Susquehanna, PA; nieces: Michele Eschbach, of Pennsburg, and Dianne Brand, of Telford, nephews: Charles Baum of Gilbertsville PA, Barry Depew of Boulder CO, Chris Depew of Quakertown PA, Steven Depew of Hamburg NY, David Brown of Susquehanna PA, Mark Brown of Susquehanna PA, Michael Brown of Philadelphia PA, Timothy Scholl of North Wales PA; and great nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Chauncey Depew, and a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Ann Baum.

All are invited to gather at the main entrance of the cemetery at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 24th for a graveside service at 11 am at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pk, Ambler, PA 19002.
