Carol Minutillo

Carol J. Minutillo, 79, of Howard Beach, NY, died December 22, 2011. She was the widow of Frank T. Minutillo and Vitaliano Tarantino. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Anna Georgiana (Eichner) Warsaw. She was a clerk for the District Attorney in Manhattan before retiring. Until moving to Howard Beach, she was a member of St. Mary's Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in Queens. Carol loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, cooking, and enjoyed playing bingo. She also loved animals and was always concerned about any strays that needed care. Surviving are children: Chuck Tarantino, and his wife, Susan, of Houston, TX; Laura Tarantino, of Patchogue, NY; Maryellen, wife of Mauro Fraiegari, of Howard Beach, NY; Anna, wife of Miguel Rojas, of Middletown, NY; and Alex Minutillo, and his wife, Kim, of Center Valley, PA; a brother, Arthur Warsaw, of Spring, TX; 14 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Edward, Mae, and Helen. Memorial Mass will be at noon on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at St. Mary's Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, 101-18 104th Street, Ozone Park, Queens, NY 11416. Interment will follow at 2 PM at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, NY.
