Calvin Amenheuser

January 5, 1926 — March 9, 2008

Calvin Bernard Amenheuser, 82, of Pennsburg, died March 9, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Eva Jean (Kaufmann) Amenheuser. Born in Catonsville, MD, he was a son of the late Jacob Henry and Whilminia (Hoerl) Amenheuser. He served his country honorably in the Army in the European Theatre during WWII. Calvin worked at Merck & Company in West Point, PA as a senior display maker for 45 years until his retirement in 1991. Surviving with his wife are daughters Debora wife of Phillip Bretz of Red Hill, Cindy wife of Carl Pederson of Harleysville, Judy wife of Sam Guertin of Harrisburg; a son Calvin and his wife Donna of Quakertown; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Allen, Clayton, and Edgar. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory (www.falkfuneralhomes.com) is in charge of arrangements.
