Bonnie Leister

Bonnie Jeanne Leister, 73, of Pennsburg, passed away July 21, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Charles Leister. Born in Drexel Hill, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Esther (Buler) Smith. Bonnie was a graduate of Methacton High School. She was a secretary for the former Pennsburg Home Care Agency until it was taken over by Grand View Hospital. She then worked at G & T Industries in East Greenville and Allentown. Bonnie retired from Kohl’s, Quakertown in 2009. She was a self-taught computer whiz and an avid Facebooker. She was one of the founding members of the Harvey Floorbangers Boombah Club, based at the former Geryville Publick House. Surviving with her husband, are sons: William, and his wife, Janet, of Macungie; and Jon, and his wife, Christine, of Red Hill; a sister, Margaret Smith, of Collegeville; and grandchildren: Matthew, Daniel, Jordan, and Tia. All are invited to a viewing from 9:30-10:30 AM on Saturday. July 27th at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg followed by Funeral Services at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
