Betty Jane Walker

Betty Jane (Schaeffer) Walker, 64, of Tamaqua and formerly of Pennsburg passed away on Saturday, July 17th, 2021. She was the wife of the late Dennis L. Walker who passed in 1993. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Hazel (Musser) Schaeffer. She was a waitress at the Pennsburg Diner for over 25 years. She is survived by her daughter Angela McDonald of Andreas, her son Stephen of Pennsburg; her grandchildren: Jonathan, Katelan, Jozeph, Gabriella, Jeremiah; her step grandchildren: Kyiesha Smith, Jiah Heacock, Jozsef Stevens, James Stevens; her step great grandchildren: Kayden, Mia, Savannah; and her sisters: Nancy Reed of Pottstown, Donna Metzger of Boyertown, Suzanne Moyer of Hereford, Sandra, wife of William Wismer of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ann Heimbach and her husband Donald, and Patricia and her husband of Harold Griffith, and her brother-in-law Carl Metzger. A Celebration of her life will be held at 10 am on Friday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband in Limerick Garden of Memories.
