Betty Lou Sturkey

Betty L. (Miller) Sturkey, 82, of Perkiomenville passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18th, 2023. She was the wife of the late Oscar Sturkey who passed in 2012. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Youngstedt and Stella Miller. She worked at the former Cherrydale Candies in Pennsburg for several years before retiring to take care of her husband.

She is survived by her daughter Roxanne of Perkiomenville, PA; her grandchildren: Max, Michael, Tiffany, & Thomas; and her great grandchildren: Haydn, Isabella, Summer, Dawn and Jenuwine; and brothers: Glenn, Michael and Youngstedt Miller. She was predeceased by her son Bernard Sturkey who passed in 2009, her granddaughter Macy who passed in 2020 and siblings: Theodore, Arthur, Gary, and Arlene Miller, and Pearl Reed.
