Betty M. Saeger

Betty M. Saeger, 91, of Emmaus, passed away September 15, 2015. She was the widow of Gerald Saeger. Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Stella (Koch) Dougherty. Betty began her career as a seamstress for the former Emmaus Pajama Factory. She then was a long time teamster and shop steward at the former Pet Milk, Allentown. Betty was an avid bowler and enjoyed needlepoint. Survivors: Children: Dianne Farber, Betty Engel, and Randy Saeger, all of Allentown; James Saeger of Waverly, VA, and Thom Saeger of Wescosville; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
