Betty Ann Press

Betty Ann Press, 71, of Pennsburg, passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2021. She was the wife of the late Eugene Press who died in 2017. Born in Spinnerstown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Nora (Schlicher) Boardman. She retired from the former Plummer Precision Optics in Pennsburg. Betty was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Spinnerstown.

Surviving are her sons, David and Matthew, with whom she resided; siblings, Larry Boardman and his wife Tena of Pennsburg, and Mary Jane Schantz of Quakertown. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Boardman.

All are invited to gather from 10 am on Monday, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073 with a celebration of her life at 11 am. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in her church cemetery.
