Betty Metz

Betty Fern Metz, 95, died peacefully at Phoebe Retirement Community in Allentown on September 4, 2019. She was the widow of the late Eugene Wampole Metz. Betty was a lifetime member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and a 1941 graduate of Pennsburg High School. She had been a resident of Upper Perkiomen Manor, where she able to serve the community as President of the Golden Agers for 13 years. Betty enjoyed watching the Eagles and Phillies. She is survived by her sons: James and Robert. She was preceded by a son, Stanley. Services will be held privately.
