Betty Lou (Smith) Hall, 89, of Bethlehem, formerly of Pottsville, Hazelton, Kingston, and Allentown, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late David G. Hall who died February 3, 2010.
Betty Lou was born in Kingston, PA on May 21, 1936 to the late Clark and Jean (Krieger) Smith. She worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. C. Donald McLean & Dr. Ronald K. Burke, Allentown. After retirement, she worked at the Moravian Book Shop, Bethlehem. Beyond her career, Betty Lou was a passionate individual who found joy in various hobbies. She loved gardening, quilting, baking, traveling, and sewing. Betty Lou also enjoyed singing and cherished the moments spent with her great nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her "NuNu." She was a former member of Midway Manor Moravian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, youth group leader, choir member, and past president of Women's Fellowship. Most recently, she was a member of West Side Moravian Church, Bethlehem where she was a choir member.

Survivors: brother: Kenneth (Carol) Smith of Bethlehem; sister, Elgene Van Horn of Lynchburg, VA; many beloved nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Peggy Jane Monroe and special friend, Luther Keck.

Services: Family and friends are invited to her visitation 11-11:30am Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the West Side Moravian Church, 402 Third Avenue, Bethlehem followed by a service at 11:30am. The Connell Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. Hellertown is handling the arrangements.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Westside Moravian Church 402 3rd Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18018 or the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org
