Betty Kline

November 19, 1926 — January 12, 2014

Betty M. Kline, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2014. She was the wife of the late Floyd Kline. She was born in East Texas, a daughter of the late Harold and Lillian (Hilbert) Kuhns. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pennsburg where she taught Sunday School. She was also active in Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting. Betty was also an Avon Representative in the Upper Perkiomen Valley. Surviving are: a son Jeffrey and his wife Linda of Macungie; a daughter Karen, wife of Ronald Diehl of Pennsburg; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren (and one on the way); sisters, Shirley Burke of Maryland, and Carol Kuhns of Allentown. Services will be held privately. She will be interred in St. Mark's Cemetery, Pennsburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 968 Postal Road, Suite 110, Allentown, PA 18109.
