Betsy Garner-Hicks

Betsy Lee Garner-Hicks, 73, of Catasauqua, passed away on April 10, 2017 at Muhlenberg Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Dennis Hicks. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Doris Garner. She held a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Betsy was a very patriotic person and an avid supporter of our military. she was a wonderful friend and a very loving mother and grandmother" " she will be missed greatly by all. Surviving with her husband are her children: Jane Knitter-Rowles and her husband Dan of Lake Geneva, WI, Tracy Tredenick and Christopher Knitter and his wife Denise, both of Chicago, IL, Mark Schulz and his wife Jody of Mount Holly, NJ, Andrew Schulz, Ann Schulz, and Jackie Schulz; and Step-Children, Denis Hicks Jr. and Eric Hicks, all of Catasauqua; twelve grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; and a brother John Garner and his wife Susan of Lebanon, PA. She is also survived by her ex-husband Jackie Schulz and his wife Shirley of Allentown. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
