Bernice Josephine Adams

September 22, 1950 — March 14, 2026

Bernice Josephine Adams, aged 75, of Langhorne, PA. Entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Born on September 22, 1950, in Trenton, NJ, Bernice was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Wilkie) Kolk. She was the beloved wife of Bruce W. Adams, celebrating nearly 57 years of marriage.

Bernice's pride and joy was her family. Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Robert L. Adams and his wife Gina of Warrington, Michael R. Adams of Perkasie, and Jennifer L. Arbo (Adams) and her husband James of Quakertown; She was "Grammie" to her 11 grandchildren; Autumn Adams (Derek), Ryan Adams (Isabella), Maggie Adams (Michael), Jonathan Adams, Shannon Adams, Cole Adams, Titus Arbo, Jacob Arbo, Lincoln Arbo, Savannah Arbo, and Haven Arbo and 5 great-grandchildren with one due in August. They were the love of her life. Bernice is also survived by her 6 siblings; Jerry Kolk (Karen), Roy Kolk (Joyce), Larry Kolk (Terrie), Nancy Kolk (Diana), Diane Kolk, and Joann Fetters (Doug). Along with many nieces, nephews, Aunt, and cousins.

Bernice was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Fairless Hills, PA and served faithfully in ministry for almost 50 years. The last 30 years, Bernice served as one of the secretaries for the Children's ministry and then went on to teaching 1st and 2nd grade.

Throughout her career as a medical receptionist at the office of Dr. DeSantos, Bernice exemplified kindness and compassion, making a significant impact on the lives of the patients and her co-workers.

Bernice's favorite past time, apart from spending every second with her family, was camping and traveling. She and her husband Bruce, traveled to 48 states and many cities throughout Canada. She loved to fish and loved going to the beach every summer. Though Bernice had several physical disabilities, she never let that stop her from living life to the fullest. She was an incredibly strong woman, a wonderful mother and a sweet and fun-loving Grammie.

Bernice touched the lives of everyone she met and will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. But we take comfort in knowing that she is happy and reunited with her parents who she loved and missed dearly and her grandbabies who have gone before her. Bernice is RUNNING on streets of gold, no more pain and no more suffering.

Well done, thou good and faithful servant. You have fought a good fight, you have finished your course, and you have kept the faith. We love you!
