Baldev Kaur (Kaur)

October 1, 1935 — June 8, 2025

Baldev Kaur, age 89, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 1, 1935, in Khusropur, India, she lived a life rich in love, faith, and service. She made her home in Nurmahal before moving to the United States, where she continued to build a legacy of kindness, family, and community.

Baldev was the heart of her family. A devoted wife to Mit Singh Sandhu, she raised five children with deep love and unwavering dedication. Her warmth and nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her guidance and care.

A deeply religious woman, Baldev found joy and strength in her faith. She was happiest in the heart of the home—cooking, tending to her household, and caring for those around her. Her door was always open, and her hands were always helping. She had a gift for conversation and a natural ability to bring people together.

One of Baldev's proudest accomplishments was orchestrating 22 marriages in her lifetime—connecting families, creating bonds, and helping others build their futures, just as she built her own with love and purpose.

Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with her wisdom, compassion, and boundless generosity. She lived a simple life surrounded by her family. Her mantra was to love and speak of God.

She is survived by her beloved husband Mit Singh Sandhu, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her memory in their hearts.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
