Arlington Supplee Jr.

Arlington W. Supplee Jr., 91, of the Frederick Mennonite Community, died November 27, 2008. He was the husband of Erma (Leister) Supplee. They were married 67 years last January. Born in Paoli, he was a son of the late Arlington & Clettie Mae (Vandeveer) Supplee. He worked in the carpentry trade. Prior to that, he maintained welding equipment for the National Union Tube Co. and worked as a laborer for the Hunter Spring Co., both of Lansdale. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Sumneytown’ and a past member of the Eagles, Lansdale Surviving: wife; son, Arlington W. III, of Northfield, VT; 3 grandchildren: Jane, Paula, and Alisa; and 4 great-grandchildren: Paul, Kevin, Andrew, and A,manda. He was pre-deceased by sisters: Mary Ellen “Polly” Jones, Lois Brumbaugh, and Dorothy McQuiston. Services: 11 AM Tuesday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg. Friends may call from 10-11 AM. Interment will follow at Friedens Union Cemetery, Sumneytown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to either Friedens UCC, P.O.
