Arlan David Dietrich

Arlan D. Dietrich, 79, of Red Hill, passed away on December 20, 2020. He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Gregory) who died in 1994. Following Carol’s death, he was the companion of the late Annette Bechtel who died in 2018. Born in Lower Macungie, he was a son of the late Charles S. and Mamie (Trexler) Dietrich. He served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps. He worked as a moulder for Red Hill Grinding and retired in 2005. Arlan was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ. Surviving are his son David of Allentown, his daughter Debbie, wife of Dr. Richard Kosierowski of Washington State, his grandchildren, Mercedes, wife of Abu Nasser of Telford and Melinda, wife of John Haber of Pennsburg; his great grandchildren: Elmira and Mojave Nasser; and his sisters: Evelyn Pinter of Macungie and Phyllis Kempf of Wescosville. He was predeceased by his siblings Paul, LeRoy, Helen, Bertha, and Marie. Due to the current health crisis, services will be held privately. Falk Funeral Home in Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Arlan’s memory to New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Rd., East Greenville, PA 18041.
