Ari Morse

Ari David Moses Morse was born in Bancha Got, Hadero, in Southern Ethiopia on December 29, 2010. Sweet baby Ari was abandoned in a bush, found and taken to the House of Hope orphanage in Addis Ababa. Ari was adopted and came to the United States on October 7, 2011 to live with his loving parents. Ari was a happy boy who loved playing with his cars, hugging his Snoopy while falling asleep, bananas for snack, his bucket of shapes (mainly the circles and triangles), and Elmo. He enjoyed driving to half-day Montessori school and listening to sports talk radio with his Daddy in the mornings and socializing with his little friends. In the afternoons, he loved looking at books and picture cards with his Momma, and chasing his Miniature Schnauzer, Hagrid, around the living room. He had already developed his own taste in music and liked dancing in his car seat with his sunglasses on. Ari was a beautiful boy inside and out and we were blessed to have had him as our son for the short amount of time we had him. Contributions in Ari’s honor may be made in the near future to the Ari David Moses Morse Foundation for improving health care to orphans in Africa.
