Anna V. Yokl, 91, of Adams Road, East Greenville, died August 17, 2008 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the widow of Lawrence J. Yokl Sr. Born in Lynnfield / Sanatoga and raised in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Christian and Eva (Schmidt) Miller. Since 1950 Anna has been a resident of the Upper Perkiomen Valley. She was an inspector and presser for the former Pennsburg Clothing Factory for 26 years before retiring in 1979. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Bally and the Bally Senior Citizens Center. Surviving is a son, Lawrence Jr., and his wife Patricia, of East Greenville; a daughter, Elizabeth, wife of William Johnson, of Lowville, NY; sisters: Eva, wife of Joseph Giadino, of Trenton, NJ; and Marie, wife of William Huston, of Lakewood, WA; 4 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; and 4 step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Rose Auerbach. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine St, Bally. A viewing will be on Thursday from 9:30 until the mass in the church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Anna loved gardening and flowers and the family would appreciate floral remembrances.
