Anna V. Wehr, 90, formerly of Red Hill, died August 29, 2011 at the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. She was the loving wife of Malcolm C. Wehr. They would have celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on September 1st. Born in Trumbauersville, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Wonsidler) Void. As a young woman, Anna worked at the former Kline's Drugstore, East Greenville. During WWII, she was employed at the former Jacob's Aircraft, Pottstown. She was a cook for the Upper Perkiomen School District for 24 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ, and a former member of the Valley Grange #1880, Red Hill and was a life member of the State Grange. Surviving with her husband, is a son, M. Scott Wehr, and his wife, Paula, of Ormond Beach, FL; daughter, Meredith Ann Ernesto, of Lebanon, PA; grandchildren: Susan Lynn, wife of Brian Beaver and Jill Ann, wife of Bill Garland; and great-grandchildren: Justin and Kyleigh Beaver; and Nathan and Jessica Garland. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, restoring antiques, and church activities A memorial service will be on Saturday at noon at Pennsburg UCC, 775 Main Street, Pennsburg. Friends may call from 11 AM until noon at the church. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
