Anna Lash

Anna Matas "Nancy" Lash, 66, of Red Hill, passed away May 7, 2013. She was the widow of Irvin Lash. Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Kenna) Matas. She was a loan processor for Harleysville National Bank, before retiring in 2006. Prior to that, she was a special education aide at the Upper Perkiomen Middle School. She began her career as a teacher in Schuylkill County. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. and the Red Hill Fire Co. Ladies' Auxiliary. She was a volunteer for the Valley Soccer Club from 1976-1990. Surviving: are her children: Irvin Lash, and his wife, Holly; Jennifer, wife of Kurt Kissner; and Christopher Lash, and his wife, Margaux; siblings: Michael Matas, and his wife, Diane; Mary Ann Salak; and Martha, wife of Donald Friday Sr.; and 5 grandchildren. Services will be on Friday at 11 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM on Friday.
