Anna Marie (Shaak) Jacobs, 92, of Quakertown Road, Pennsburg, died February 22, 2010. She was the widow of Lester B. Jacobs. Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Ada Mae (Harr) Shaak. She and her husband owned and operated the former Jake’s Market and Ann’s Dinette, in Pennsburg for 21 years. She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville, and was past president of the Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post # 184, Palm. She was also a volunteer for the Meals-on-Wheels Program for many years. Surviving: are 2 sons: Dennis Reiter, and his wife Susan, of Willingboro, NJ; and Kim, and his wife Sue, of Pennsburg; a daughter: Margaret, wife of Edmond Zifra, of Pennsburg; 5 grandchildren: Michael, Kristin, Nathan, and Aaron; and 4 great-grandchildren: Jessica, Dennis, William, and Mia. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Dennis Jr., and 3 sisters, Margaret Shaak, Dorothy Sine and Pauline Cirochi. Services: Will be at 11 AM on Saturday at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
