Ann Savitske Townsend, 92, of Hillsboro Beach, FL and formerly of Hellertown, passed away on November 10, 2015. She was the beloved wife of John Townsend. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Onufer and Mary Savitske. She and her husband were the owners and operators of the former Hanka Pierogies in Hellertown. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Survivors: Husband, John; daughters: Eugenia, wife of Dr. Norman Johnson of West Palm Beach, FL, Tamara Townsend, wife of Rev. Dr. Paul Meese of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren: Jennifer and Norman Johnson, Benjamin Rush and his wife Kayla; a great grandchild: Rory. Services: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 18 at Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 1140 Johnston Drive, Bethlehem. All are invited to a viewing on Tuesday from 5 - 7 PM at the Falk Funeral Home, 1418 Main St., Hellertown. Interment will follow the Mass in Hellertown Union Cemetery.
