Anita Gabrielaitis

Anita M. Gabrielaitis, 71, of Green Lane, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 2, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Frank Gabrielaitis. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in April. Born and raised in the Germantown area of Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Sabine (Sonzogni) McIlhenny. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. Surviving with her husband are her daughter, Jacqueline, wife of Scott Gehris of Plymouth, IN; her son, Jason and his wife Sharon of Gilbertsville, PA; her grandchildren: Kai and Shane; her sisters: Sabine Mandell, of Pennsylvania, and Eileen Robertshaw and her husband Peter, of California; and her brothers: Francis McIlhenny and his wife Joanne, of Massachusetts, and Vincent McIlhenny, of Florida. A Celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 9, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073, where all are invited to gather and share memories from 10 AM until the service begins. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Robert Roncase of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered in her memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, P.O. Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428-0222.
