Alma L. Paul, 87, of Pennsburg and formerly of Hatboro, died May 25, 2012. She was the widow of John A. Paul Sr, who died in 1970. Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Herbig) Shaner. She was the co-owner of the former Walt's Restaurant, Hatboro, in the 1960's. After that, she was a housekeeper for the Orangemen's House, Hatboro. She was a charter member of the Hatboro Community Methodist Church, and was a lifetime member of the Morning Light Chapter #312, Order of the Eastern Star, Hatboro. Surviving is a daughter, Barbara Ann, wife of Michael Rottina, of Middletown, DE; and sons: John "Jack" Paul, and his wife, Linda, of Hereford; and David C. Paul, and his wife, Karen, of Langhorne; a sister: Blanche, wife of William Culver, of Warminster; 6 grandchildren: Michael, Donna, Kristen, Kathryn, Tyler, and Austin; and 7 great-grandchildren: Mikaela, Sarah, Daniel, Shaela, Michael, Jacob, and Anna. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Harry, Donald, Roy, Anna, Ruth, Edna, and Iona. Services will be at 2 PM on Tuesday at the chapel of Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA.
