Alfred Hoch

Alfred J. Hoch Alfred J. Hoch, 88, of Geryville Pike, Pennsburg, and formerly of Palm, died August 20, 2008. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. (Schott) Hoch. They were married 62 years this past May. Born in Chapel, PA he was a son of the late Alfred C. and Hannah E. (Schantz) Hoch. He was employed at Mack Trucks, Allentown for 43 years, retiring in 1982. He was also the owner of the former Palm Motor Corp from 1954-1985. Surviving with his wife, are children: Ellen Stracka and Alfred J. Hoch III, both of Green Lane; Larry Hoch, of Pennsburg; Terry Hoch and Randall Hoch, both of Zionsville; and Sally Grim, of Barto; a sister, Ruth Buhman, or Zionsville, 10 grandchildren: Wendy, Heidi, James, Matthew, Justin, Jared, Jenna, Sarah, Michael, and Tyler; and 6 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Dawson, Tyler, Dana, Aidan, and Lucas. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Ezra. Memorial Services will be on Monday at 11 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg. Friends may call from 10-11 AM Monday.
