It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Alberto "Al" Efrain Aimone, 75, of Green Lane, PA on April 3, 2026, after a life lived with quiet grace, boundless love, an unshakable easygoing spirit, and an unwavering devotion to the people he loved.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 10, 1950, he was the son of Gloria (Miani) and the late Efrain Aimone. Al made the United States his home in 1971 and built a life here with his hands and his heart. For decades, he worked as a brick and stone mason; a craftsman whose skill and dedication were evident in everything he built. Since his retirement, he has enjoyed his daily crossword and sudoku puzzles.
Al was the kind of man who never needed to be the loudest in the room. Mild-mannered and go-with-the-flow, he had a warmth and humor that made everyone around him feel at ease. His greatest joy was his family, and his love for them was steady and deep. Above all, Al loved being "Abo" to his cherished granddaughter, Emmie, who especially sparked that twinkle in his eye.
He was passionate about the beautiful game of soccer, playing for over 35 years; cheering fiercely as a lifelong fan of Boca Juniors and his favorite player, Lionel Messi. On weekends you might find him on the golf course, or settled in to watch the Philadelphia Phillies. Sports were a language he spoke with enthusiasm and joy.
Al is survived by his beloved wife, Susan (Schroeder) Aimone; his loving daughter, Danielle Klipp and her husband Devon; his son, Hugo Aimone; his daughter in law Jamie Aimone; his grandchildren Emmie, Conor, Alex, Sebastian and Viviene; and a host of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. In addition to his father, Al was preceded in death by his son, Frank Aimone.
Al faced every challenge in life with admirable strength, courage, and a warm smile. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and humor that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., at Falk Funeral Home in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania.
He will be deeply missed. May he rest in the peace that his presence so graciously provided those who adored him.
