Albert Tolson

Albert R. Tolson, 88, formerly of Norristown, died November 20, 2012. He was the husband of the late Joan F. (Troy) Tolson. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late A. Russell and Martha (Myers) Tolson. He served his country honorably in the Navy. He owned and operated the former Tolson Delivery Service in the Norristown and Philadelphia area for 42 years, until retiring in 1989. Surviving are sons, Russell, of Barto, and Albert, Jr. of Wisconsin; Linda Wilson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Gail Bingham of Norristown and Dorothy Skukalek of Tampa, FL; stepdaughters: Judy Flack of Houston, TX and Jill Gillan of Worcester; Stepson Chris Bantham of Overland Park, KS; 8 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 10 step- great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy Ann, and a sister, Dorothy Johnson. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on December 1, at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.
