Alan Jacobs

Fred Jacobs, 68, of East Greenville, passed away March 19, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Janine (Krans) Jacobs. Born in Germantown, he was a son of the late Martin and Harriett (Zipler) Jacobs. He graduated from Temple University with a degree in Engineering. In recent years, he worked with Robert Young as a master carpenter and cabinet builder. Surviving with his wife is his son Zachary and his wife Marissa of New Hope; and his brothers, Tom and his wife Annie of Virginia and Lon and his wife Hannah of Nevada. Among Fred’s greatest joys were, working in his shop, playing music with his close friends and family, cooking and spending time with his beloved dogs and wife, Janine. Fred had a strong love for his family and friends that was felt by all who knew him. Services will be held privately.
