Agnes Cowher, 85, of Pennsburg, died July 17, 2011. She was the widow of Willard Cowher. Born in Camden, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Kmiec) Lewandowski. She was employed by Knoll International, East Greenville for 11 years before retiring in 1992. Prior to that, she worked at the former Emico, Perkasie for 18 years. As a young woman, she played guitar and sang at the Naval Academy, Phila., for USO shows. Her stage name was "Bonnie Lee from the Hills of Tennessee. She was active in the Civil Air Patrol in the Skippack area during WWII. She was a member of St Philip Neri Catholic Church. She was an E.M.T. and Membership Secretary of the Upper Perkiomen Ambulance for 20 years; she was a volunteer at Grand View Hospital for 25 years, at Grand View Hospice, for 10 years, and for Meals-On-Wheels. She was a former Constable of Upper Hanover Township; and was formerly on the Board of the Upper Perkiomen Senior Citizens Center. Surviving: Daughters: A. Shirley, wife of Douglas Dinger, of Albion, PA; Maxine Bodarky, of Phoenixville; Brothers: Frank Lewandowski, of Skippack; and Alfonso Lewandowski, and his wife Barbara, of Quakertown; 6 grandchildren: Michael, Justin, David, Christina, Amanda & Jaclyn; and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Beverly Latshaw; a grandson, Christopher Dinger; and 4 siblings: Thomas Lewandowski, Cecilia Richard, Frances Tiblis, and Lucy Lewandowski. Services: A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 25th at 10 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. A viewing will be on Sunday from 6-8 PM and on Monday, from 9-9:30 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.
